Seems that now that Modern Warfare 2 has been out for some 8+ months now, it would be fair to make a list about the loadouts that are used that confirm your possible status as a TOOL and AVOID them...nobody wants to be a douche bag or play against them. So here, is a list...what would you add?
1. COMMANDO - This has got to be one of the biggest douche bag perks I've come across. Yeah, it can save your bacon if you're reloading and someone is just outside of melee range, but give me a break, this perk is just one of those douche bag perks because it gives you and unfair advantage when you don't deserve it. Switch to your secondary idiot.
Now, I'll concede to using COMMANDO PRO if indeed you are someone who likes to jump off of tall ledges, but if you use it for melee attacks, you are a douche bag.
2. ONE MAN ARMY - OMA is one of those perks that is supposed to be used to switch to a completely different class, not the one you were just using. If you want to switch to a completely different class because you need to adjust your loadout for a new strategy, OK...but if you just want to reload your nube toob, then you my friend, are a douche bag. You'll probably get nuked in the afterlife for what you've done to get your radioactive emblem.
3. Carrying a Thumper when you already have a noob tube attached to your primary.
4. Akimbo RANGERS
5. Akimbo any shotgun or weapon you couldn't normally fire without using two hands.
6. Quick Scoping...show me one special forces sniper who runs through Iraq jumping around, 360-ing, quick scoping and I'll show you a Grand Master Douche Bag. It might be fun, but it's not really that cool. I know this will piss some of you off, but really, it's an opinion. I'm not saying they should remove it from the game, but I probably won't be doing it.
So, there you have it. A quick off the cuff list of things you can avoid so you can stay off the douche bag list! Have fun our there!

Trying To Make It Fun Again
I don't know about the rest of you, but it seems the main emphasis of every MW2 vlog I watch these days is trying new class setups because everyone is bored with MW2 and the complaints everyone has regarding the overpowered weapons, campers, horrible maps or other things.
So I gave in and tried it too.
Setup the FAL with Scavenger, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim. I'm just saying, it's lots of fun. It's forced me to search for better mid to long range kills and rely on my secondary when I find myself in those close combat situations. It's still the same game, but that setup forces me to play a little differently. And that's really what it's all about. Keeping it random so the experience is fresher round to round. Don't get stuck playing the same way...if you don't like a weapon, don't write it off, look at perks and how you can offset it's weaknesses, or what maps it can be useful on.
What about you? Have you tried any cool weapons classes?

Modern Warfare 2 iPhone App
It seems that MW2 has yet to receive a decent companion app that tracks stats as World at War had. It's obvious that there are loads of differences between Treyarch and Infinity Ward, and the companion app is one of many.
There is no debating that MW2 has crisp graphics and a fast-paced multi-player experience, but not being able to sign-in to the web or a companion app on your phone to check your stats and compare with friends seems like a serious oversight on the part of Infinity Ward. Afterall, it is 2010 and we are all supposedly playing one of the most "state-of-the-art" video games of this century. So why no iPhone app or even a website to check your stats on?
It seems that IW was trying to fit so much into this game that it resulted in a product that was rushed to market and required patches day 1 and MANY more after that...so maybe the programmers and testers are burned out and just want Treyarch to come out with the next game already to get the monkey off their back.
Don't get me wrong, I love MW2 and have logged some serious time...and obviously others do too. I recently heard that divorce rates are even going up because fellas are playing this game so much their women friends can't take it any longer...so obviously IW has made a captivating game. But why not captivate your base even further with a companion app and/or a website that tracks stats as well (just like Treyarch did with World at War)...and what Treyarch was able to leverage off of their companion app was an eventual release of the top grossing iPhone app, Call of Duty World at War Zombies...which I must say, is probably the truest port of a console game to the iPhone ever.
I won't even get into why we haven't seen DLC maps or why the PS3 is getting them 30 days later than the XBOX folks...yet.
So what are your thoughts?
